| Description / Special Requirements | The Gymnasium provides for patient evaluation, rehabilitation exercise activities, therapy and ambulation training. An external outlook is desirable. The Gym area will require access for wheelchairs and staff handwashing facilties. The equipment to be used in this area will be dependent on the funtion of the gym and the Operational Policy. Acoustics: Acoustic privacy required. Body protected electrical area Special Design Requirements - Floors, walls and ceilings must be structurally able to support exercise and weight training equipment that may be required in the gym |
